BJJ Tips is a training-preparation app: you choose the areas of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu you're working on and we send you short, focused tips timed around your training. BJJ Tips is operated by TIPS BRAND LTD, the data controller for the personal data described here. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and what control you have. We aim for the same honesty here as in the app.

What we collect, and why

• Account details. When you sign in with Google, Apple, or email and password we store your account identifier and email address. Without an account we can't deliver your tips to your device or keep your library across devices.
• Your selections and schedule. The areas you choose, your optional training days and times, and your timezone. These exist solely to pick the right tip and send it 30–60 minutes before you train — never mid-session, never overnight.
• Delivery and reading activity. Which tips were sent to you and when, whether and when you opened them, and what you save. This runs your personal library, prevents repeats, and tells us which content is genuinely useful.
• Feedback you give. If you rate a tip or leave a comment, we store it and use it to improve the content.
• Subscription state. Whether your account has an active subscription or remaining free tips. Payments are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play — we never see your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to relay your subscription state to us, keyed to your account identifier.
• Push notification tokens and a small amount of delivery diagnostics, so tips can reach your device and we can fix notification problems.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no ad tracking, no selling or sharing of your data for marketing. Ever.
• No collection beyond what the app visibly does.
• No reading data we don't need: we can't even browse you a full tip library server-side — content reaches your account only as it's delivered to you.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions and push messaging), hosted in Google Cloud's London region (europe-west2) for the production service. RevenueCat processes subscription state on our behalf. These providers act as our processors and don't use your data for their own purposes.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete account, inside the app, permanently deletes your account: your profile, schedule, delivery history, saved tips and feedback, and your sign-in itself. It cannot be undone, and it works immediately — no email required, nothing to wait for. An active subscription is managed by your app store and should be cancelled there; deleting your account does not charge or refund anything.

Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete the account and it's gone; there is no shadow copy in the serving systems. Standard infrastructure backups age out on their own schedule.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data-protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (the in-app deletion is the fastest route). Contact us at the address below and we'll respond.
